HENCH's Bahamian Adventure - Day 4
After one of the most amazing nights in the casino ever, where stranger things have never happened, we tested our luck and it didn't run out. Capt'n Henchy agreed to take us back to Rose Island for another day on the beach. The roll continues!

A small, hard-working drive-off cargo ship takes supplies to another island.

Here are just some of the brand new custom homes going in around the Ocean Club golf course.

Beautiful beach, beautiful golf course, and some HUGE price tags.

Did I forget to mention the private quay?

(Steve Irwin voice on:) "Crikey! It's the rare and dangerous Southern Californian Limey-Land-Lubber! While currently docile, he can be instantly agitated to a deadly state by even the slightest sight, sound, smell, or even sixth-sense of liberalism, from ranges of over 1,000 meters! Of course, he's most dangerous when something gets between him and his favorite prey, an unsuspecting cold beer. This is one species even I won't tangle with." (Steve Irwin voice off)

Back to the private beach on Rose Island. You couldn't have asked for a nicer day.

They don't hide anything in the Bahamas. They even get the order of priority right. As we're going in for a drink, they're going out for a drink.

Back at the Atlantis marina.

The view from the back of the Gilly Too in slip 13 at the Atlantis marina. The waterfalls are just in front of the casino. The good news is it only takes a couple minutes to walk over to try your luck.

Some of the fine hardware docked in the marina.

We just sat out here having a drink watching the boats go by as the Sun started to set.

"OK, ONE more, and then off to Chez Willie!" (Thanks to the Capt'n Seadog for picking up the exorbitant tab at Chez Willie.)

"OK, ONE more to get in the proper spirits, and then off to the casino!"

This boat, the "Roxana" reminds me of one of my sister's friends....

....beautiful and E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E!
Did I say EXPENSIVE? I should have kept my mouth shut. The Dog gave up a portion of his substantial winnings, and HENCH gave back all of his and THEN some, in one of the worst, (and fastest) casino slaughters on record at the Craps table.

Here we are with our great driver Ken. Unfortunately, this photo means it's anchors away for Seadog and HENCH, but we have to thank Capt'n Henchy endlessly for granting us permission to come aboard. He was even Captain of the kitchen, cooking us steaks one day, and Lobster one night! What a host! Ahoy Capt'n, and CHEERS!
