HENCH Tours Norton Simon Museum - Art World Buzzing!

6-16-01 Pasedena, CA.

Armed with his favorite cultural intellect, Ms. Helen, HENCH took in the fine display of historical art at the Norton Simon museum.

Rather than bore you with overly wordy discussions on style, brush strokes, use of color, lighting, separation, theme....(getting wordy already, eh?) we'll just post the pictures, and let you make your own judgments and critiques.

The texture of Van Gogh brings out the texture of Hench's frown. Despite the face, this piece was the one Hench decided to take home.

I think this piece is called "Helen Bathing."

Hench likes tall and thin too, but this is ridiculous!

Helen: "I'm not leaving until someone gets this inexpensive little item for me."

Helen goes into transcendental meditation to put the security guards in a trance. Not in picture - Hench effortlessly lifting the Monet and Van Gogh.

Helen gets a little too friendly with the artwork, even La Tour is blushing a bit!

Ummm, all this culture has made me hungry, this pear looks tasty. Security: "Sir, please don't eat the displays."
